Camp calendar 2008

In 2008, there are 6 camps that are programmed, 5 exclusively in English with Monitors and Native professors and 1 Bilingual camp trip, with 50% made up of Spaniards and 50% made up of Americans. This Bilingual camp trip was announced in the Diario of Leon in July 2007 to mention our intention to mix Americans and Spaniards that jointly creates a real bilingual atmosphere. In the following chart, we’ll show you the camp calendar for the English camps and the Bilingual camp and their objectives. Depending on the demand, we will replace any of the English camps (often reserved for Spanish kids) with International English Camps, where we can receive International students from overseas, Europe, Asia etc.

Camps descriptions

  • 1. Holy Week-English camp: This is ideal for kids who are weak in English throughout the school year and the program will focus on how to prepare for the exams in English in either grade school or institute (from second year in grade school to second year ESO). This blend of the 9 monitors and native professors, that in addition of teaching them English in the classes, spark up an interest for the language when mixed with professors who have a knack for children and incite them to want to communicate with them during the coexistence of trips and activities. This results as something very positive as it changes the children perceptions about learning English.
  • 2. July 1st Fortnight: (Standard) English camp - POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL CAMP
  • 3. July 2nd Fortnight: (Standard) English camp - POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL CAMP
  • 4. Last week of July and First week in August: Bilingual Camp The bilingual camp will mix Spanish campers that will receive English classes from monitors and native professors from United States and Canada and our English campers will learn Spanish from our Spanish monitors and native professors. It is for this reason that both groups of students when being in the same situation will be able to communicate naturally when placed with children in the same age group. This is what will make this camp trip a UNIQUE and UNFORGETTABLE experience for them.
  • 5. August 2nd Fortnight: (Standard) English camp - POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL CAMP
  • 6. Last week of August and First week in September: (Standard) English camp - POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL CAMP
