The Valley of Fenar and its surroundings

The campsite is found near the town of Robledo of Fenar, located between the populations of Matallana de Torio and La Robla, in the heat of the Valley of Fenar.

The town is cozy and rural with 32 inhabitants during the winter and something less of 50 during the summer with people elated with the existence of our campsite in the summer.

The surrounding is unique, near the mountains of the sierra and 500 meters south of the river.

Nearby towns can be found such as:

La Robla:

The biggest one of them all, just only 7 kilometers will be used as reference to facilitate getting into the campsite.

La Robla is the major roadway to communicate from the North Province of Leon. Its path is obligatory for the travelers coming to Leon just as those going to Asturias. At La Robla, it is easy to travel through the following highways:

• -N-630 that join the port of Pajares that gives access to Asturias and vice versa.
• -C-626 allows access to Highway A-66 that unites Leon and Asturias.
• -In La Robla, you can access Alsa Buses or the trains.

Matallana de Torio

Matallana de Torio is found 30Km of Leon and 1,5 km from The camp and is a marvelous town that must be visited. It nears the Torio River where children go bathe during the summer. It also has an available trail where walking or biking is permitted.

It has a Church and on the 18, 19, and 20 th of August there are the festive holidays of San Roque.

The Torio is a mountain river that has a lot of cliffs nearby Pardave.

The city council is made up of 11 old localities, towns designed in medieval stone. Here are some historical/cultural sights to see. The localities are:
