Summer camp surveilled by Webcams 24 Hours
To watch what your kids do "on-line"
The great added value of our Summer Camp consists in the ability we have to measure achievement in the English language, thanks to the tests that we provide at the beginning and at the end of the fortnight.
It is evident that in 15 days, one cannot learn a foreign language. However, what we strive here at the camp is to maximize the students potential for advancing within their level, excluding the basics.
That is why we review the GMR exam at the beginning and at the end, an exam designed by our team and in collaboration with Canterbury English, to provide us with a progress chart of the student’s achievement.
Our classes are taught by English natives’ professors for 3 hours daily in two sessions so as not to overwhelm the students. In addition, there will be other amenities like audio visuals of Caves around the World brought by USA in English, Museum of Wild Fauna and several drawings where we will give clothing articles for children, complements, etc., anything in English that will oblige them to learn vocabulary daily.
Different levels are established to guarantee our students the best opportunities, in the same way that it’s done in the best schools of languages which we work with around the world.
ENGLISH CLASSES IN THE MORNING WITH ALEXThe activities are complements to the lessons and these are based on games, videos, songs, etc. and are inspired by that day’s theme in which the objective would be to have the children speak English using words and phrases learned that day and correcting them, when necessary.
Ultimately, the goal of our students is to prepare a theatrical-musical event during their stay at the camp and present it to the parents on their last day. This makes them eager to learn the words, pronunciation, and lose their fear of public speaking, a success that happened in 2007 where all the children knew all their lines and pronounced their words accurately. Congratulations to all professors and students!!
We hope to repeat this again in 2008.
