All campers are insured by a policy specially contracted with INTERMUNDIAL for GMR Summer Camps as required by law for all multi-adventure activities that take place in our summer English camps.

All children must bring their health card to be attended at health centers and their identity card as much as possible. This card covers all medical contingencies that may arise during the duration of the camp.

GMR Summer Camps offers special travel insurance for hiring on a voluntary basis, which is the same as that offered for trips abroad and for school years abroad, with extraordinary coverages. Medical care is provided in any way with the health card and is not strictly necessary, but its cost to the companies of GRUPO MUNDO EN RED is only 0.70 cents per day, so it is advisable to hire, although voluntary .

Own facilities

In our facilities we also have adequate areas for first aid, one in the main enclosure of the camp and another in the pool area, with a nurse and a doctor always available in the health center of Matallana de Torío. In addition, our lifeguard provides first aid together with the camp coordinator, and they will transfer any injured camper to La Robla, Matallana or Leon if necessary in a matter of minutes.

The reason for having a fleet of 6 vehicles for the exclusive use of our camps, all of them labeled with our corporate colors, is primarily to provide the service of emergency transfers if necessary to our campers, apart from other uses. ordinary.
