Hiking in the mountains!

Saturday was one of my Favourite days so far. We took the kids in a hike from camp to the refuge in the mountains. The scenery was spectacular and the weather was perfect! We left around 10:30 in the morning and started leading  the campers up to the first rest area. You could see the mountains and cities all around and it was truly incredible. Trip to Léon!

Wednesday we had our trip to Léon. We started the morning off with breakfast and then got on the bus. When we arrived we went to San Marcos it was beautiful. I can't believe it is a hotel now. The campers walked around and answered questions from their Léon scavenger hunt and saw the incredible facade. After that we got back on the bus and went to the animal museum. Jeopardy, arts and crafts and more!

Tuesday we started the day off with a dual of the day! We played t-Rex ball. It was the yellow team vs the orange team. Unfortunately the orange team lost but it was lots of fun. Then we did stretches and separated the kids in two groups to reviews some vocabulary and history of Leon to prepare for the excursion tomorrow. Monday we started the first full day with our wonderful new kids. We started the morning off with stretching and dancing ! We did the wobble and cha cha slide. Then we broke the kids into their color teams. My team was orange and our team name was the amazing oranges. Then we created a mascot and shield. After that we chose a team captain, ours was Dani. The new arrivals!

Sunday was the first day of camp with the new kids. They arrived in the afternoon and we gave all of them level tests. They are great kids! After the level tests the kids all made name tags and moved into their cabins. Then we played introductory games in the games room.
