First Day of Camp!

What a Blast! It was our first day with the new kids, and I got to do level tests. I love giving the level tests because I get to meet the new students, spend time with them, and learn a little about their personalities. Day 1 of fun!

Good afternoon!! Official day 1 of camp. Started off a pleasure. After breakfast we had the Duel of the Day, Mark vs K's class, they did a wheel barrow race and Mark's team won!! Yay!  My class is an awesome class, we're going to have a great time. Welcome day!!

Today we spent the whole day preparing for the new kids to arrive. We set up the English Level test section, planned games to play, got the registration area set up and much more. When everyone arrived I was lucky enough to meet everyone and their parents and direct the parents to the registration and the kids to the English Level Test area. 150 kids is a lot but everything went so smooth. Day 6 of fun!

Last day of camp :(  We spent all day setting up for the carnival. Our class's game was Ball in the Hole. You had 3 balls which you had to throw in the ball through different holes on the poster. Each hole was worth different points, 25, 50, 75 and 100. It was actually much harder than it sounds but some people were really good. DAY 6: farewell carnival

Today was the last day of camp. :( the kids spent the morning packing their suitcases and cleaning their cabins. Next we all gathered in our classes to prepare our carnival game for the afternoon: "impossible throw" Next we wrote our final diary entries. I think all the kids have improved since day 1.
