Good day for the pool!

Camp kicked off today with a high of 31 degrees. We had lots of games and activities planned for the first part of the day, but everyone was really looking forward to pool time! Earlier in the day we met our classes. I'll be leading dance/theater and teaching English to 11 of the 10-12 year olds.  I'm impressed with the dance team already. Day 1 of fun!

These will be our 4 teams for the camp, together in our groups we will compete against each other and these will also be our Olympics teams. We have the Blue Stars, the Red Dragons, the Yellow Toilets (....?) and the Lean Mean Green Machine. We designed [...]

We gave out the awards with special poo shaped medals ???????? and watched the dance groups to perform - very impressive! Today we had our English Fair, which both campers and families enjoyed. My class's 'Catch a Fish' game was a great success - well done to them for all the hard work they put [...]
