Monday, July 11th Normal Day at camp, which was strange after an excursion and Olympics Day. My class, however is never normal! Day 6 was BEACH DAY!! We started the day with a 2 hour bus ride to the Dinosaur Museum. We saw dinosaur skeletons, fossils, bones and learnt information about the dinosaur era. Very interesting. But what came next was the best for me. After 7 months without the beach we finally went to the beach!! We sat in the sand, are our lunch and waited until our stomachs had settled then.... BAM!!! Day 8 was Olympic day! My station was basketball with Brad. Each two teams had to compete in Knockout and the winner won all the points for their team. Day 9, back to normality. After breakfast we had the duel of the day and...... MY CLASS WON!! We played leap frog and it was hilarious. Some of them did great jumps and others just plain funny to watch. First class was a fun class. We played Jeopardy with lots of different sections. Another great day!!! We got up extra early this morning to visit Asturias. A spectacular drive through the mountains ended in rain as we crossed the border into Asturias.
